Eyedeal Optical is locally owned and operated by Bob Pierce. After beginning his career with a national eyewear chain, Bob discovered the importance of local business to his community and saw an opportunity to bring superior quality, better service and lower cost to his friends and neighbors. His vision was realized in 1997 with the opening of Eyedeal Optical. He hand picks his incredible selection of frames and cuts all lenses on the premises so each pair of glasses is truly locally crafted. Bob is a member of the Lions Club International and works with the local school district to provide free exams and glasses to children in need.
As a company, we strive to give every patient the most comprehensive eye care available, exceptional customer service, the latest in lens technology and an incredible selection of frames. We not only want our clients to look great and have superior vision, we want them to leave with the confidence and knowledge of an informed consumer.
Services
At Eyedeal Optical we strive to give our patients the most comprehensive eye care available. Our Optometrist, Dr. Wayne Huebener from Iowa City, performs routine comprehensive eye exams as well as contact fittings and follow up visits.
If you’ve been thinking about trying contact lenses for the first time or just need an updated prescription, we can help you find the perfect contacts to fit your lifestyle. We provide education and training for every new wearer and you receive a free trial pair to test before you order so there is no financial risk involved.
We use an incredible variety of products specifically chosen for each of our patients. From single vision to the latest in progressive lens technology, we cater to each individual and their prescription. We work with GSRx, an independent lab based in the US, offering superior German designed lenses and coatings with unsurpassed HD technology. All measurements are taken with the latest digital equipment available. There is a one year warranty on our frames and lenses with the option to purchase extended coverage. We do all adjustments, maintenance and repairs for the life of the product. Sport specific frames and lenses as well as safety eyewear is also available. We are contracted with Safevision and handle many accounts with businesses in the area for safety glasses.
